Summer at La Luna
Laura. And. Jake. AHH! Two of the kindest people in the whole world, with all their incredible family and friends, celebrating the happiest time together. Tacobout BEST DAY EVER!
Seriously though, Laura and Jake’s wedding is one we’d been looking forward to for ages- there’s something extra amazing about getting to shoot a wedding for a close friend! From the moment we met up with the bridesmaids, we knew it was going to be an especially memorable day. There was no chaos or scrambling around- just a group of incredibly happy people serenading the bride with pre-wedding songs (perks of having a ridiculously talented bridal party!) and counting down the minutes ‘til we could head out to the ceremony. After group pictures, Laura hung back for a second. Always prepared for the worst, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she went on to explain that she was just pausing to take it all in. Advice to future couples… DO THIS. How often do you get to spend an entire day with ALL the people closest to you?! The day goes by in the blink of an eye, yes, but taking a few seconds throughout the day to just step back and think about the magnitude of it all really helps you savor it.
Laura and Jake’s ceremony at La Luna was so unique, with close friends officiating and performing music. The rest of the day was a whirlwind of a party, with a first dance Laura choreographed herself, a lively dance floor, and some of our favorite sunset pictures ever. Laura and Jake, we were so honored to be with you to celebrate and we love you both so, so much. We wish you all the happiness in the world!!
